Monthly Programs and Events

Make time to come to one of our monthly membership programs — the cornerstone of the Carolina chapter. They usually occur the third Thursday of each month and begin at 6:00pm with networking and munching (usually pizza or sandwiches and drinks). Check the Calendar of Events for more specific information.

If you already know other members, it's a good time to catch up. If you're new to STC, we have a friendly group, so you can easily strike up a conversation.


We may deviate from this schedule to support other chapter activities. Please check this page and the calendar frequently for updates about our upcoming programs.

Special Interest Groups

In addition to the monthly membership programs, several local special interest groups (SIGs) meet throughout the month. SIG meetings are typically small and casual. We encourage you to attend a SIG meeting if you're new to the chapter and introduce yourself.

Volunteers

If you can't make it to the meetings, consider other ways to get involved. At the moment, we have several Volunteer Opportunities, from coordinating the technical publications competition to leading the training committee.
